Some blends contain salt and some do not. Each product page includes a full ingredient list so you know exactly what you're reaching for before it hits the pan.

A good starting point is about one teaspoon per pound of protein, and from there it comes down to personal taste. Most of our recipes include specific measurements so you always have a reference point when you need one.

For best flavor, use within 12 months of opening and store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight. A spot near the stove looks great but the heat and steam will shorten the shelf life — a drawer or cabinet nearby works just as well.
